How it works
Connect Stripe to your property
Go to Settings → Connect Stripe. You'll be redirected to Stripe to create an Express account. One account can be shared across multiple properties, or each property can have its own.
Payout amount is set per job
The rate is pulled from the cleaner's profile at the time the job is created and locked in. If you update a cleaner's rate later, existing jobs aren't affected — only new ones.
AI approves the job
Once all required checklist items have passing photos, the AI approves the job automatically. You can also manually approve from the job detail page.
Payout triggers instantly
On approval, CleanForge calls Stripe's transfer API and moves the payout amount directly to your cleaner's connected account. The cleaner gets an SMS confirmation.
Stripe handles compliance
Stripe manages tax forms (1099 in the US), identity verification, and payout scheduling to the cleaner's bank account. CleanForge never holds funds.
Stripe account statuses
Each property shows the current Stripe status in settings. Here's what each status means.
Account is active and payouts will transfer automatically.
Stripe is reviewing the account. Payouts are queued until verified.
The cleaner needs to complete Stripe onboarding. Send them the connect link.
Stripe is optional. If you don't connect Stripe, the Approve button simply marks the job as approved without triggering a payout. You can pay your cleaners manually instead.
